Everything .2nd time there in 6 weeks. Came back because my wife and i loved it the first time and we will continue to keep coming back. I did do some repairs to.the apartment while i was there but thats because they were simple and annoying me. But we love it there.

Rustic, comfortable feel. Loved the concierge closet at Timberlake Inn with free coffee, water, soft drinks and ice cream. The jetted soaking tub was great. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent!

There is a beautiful lake in the middle and all of the different cabins are decorated so nicely, both inside and outside. Definitely hit the Mountain village vibe. It is right down the road from 2 relaxing, but still hopping, towns and there are ski resorts dotted all across the mountains. My family and I are considering spending xmas there again. EVERYONE who worked at that resort was kind and very competent...The best place to stay in Blowing Rock...It exceeded our expectations. Even though we did not use the spa the staff was kind and generous even giving us some free samples to take home.
