The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. Great location, less than 5 minutes to the ferry. We arrived at 3am and had arranged for someone to pick us up and a private boat through the guesthouse. All went perfectly. They helped us arrange tours as well! Great air con, wifi, breakfast was nice, you can get food from a local cafe delivered and the staff were helpful.

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

Great spot on the Nile, 10 min walk from the Nubian Village. The people around here are really friendly. Great if you're looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the major cities. Food at the restaurant was authentic and delicious. They sell beer as well.
