This was probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Villas by the lake are so lovely, we have enjoyed it so much that this is the first time we didn’t want to leave the accomodation. Breakfast they bring you is also lovely, the staff is lovely, you can try yoga or siesta classes… Dinner in Solitairy restaurant was an amazing experience. 10/10

Pistohiekka Resort snýr að ströndinni í Puumala og er með verönd og bar. Dvalarstaðurinn er með fjölskylduherbergi. Einingarnar á dvalarstaðnum eru með kaffivél. Nice place by the lake, good beach, food in restaurant was great. Breakfast delivered to room and breakfast had everything we needed. Nice nature in the area. Very suitable for families.

Þetta sveitahótel er staðsett við strönd Saimaa-vatns og í 40 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Savonlinna en það býður upp á herbergi og gistingu í sumarbústöðum. We loved the peace and tranquility of the area. The resort itself was well presented and had a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very helpful.

Harjun Portti er staðsett í 50 metra fjarlægð frá Retretti-lestarstöðinni og í 100 metra fjarlægð frá Pihlajavesi-vatni. Í boði eru sumarbústaðir með einkagufubaði, fullbúnu eldhúsi og loftkælingu. We were made very welcome and the chalet conformed to the description. No bad surprises. The chalet was spacious, heated before our arrival and the fireplace allowed us to spend good times inside even though it was -25 outside. The sauna in the chalet was a real plus too. Very close to the lake, the snowshoe or Nordic ski trails, it is a perfect location which gives the feeling of being in the heart of nature while being in the immediate vicinity of a clear traffic route, which is not negligible in extreme cold. I think we will come back if the opportunity arises.

Sahanlahti er staðsett við Saimaa-vatn, í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Puumala og býður upp á einkaströnd, smábátahöfn og reykgufubað við vatnið. What can I say! This was my 4th stay at Sahanlahti and as every time, my only big mistake was to have stayed just 1 night. The location by the lake is just beautiful, the rooms are so well done and have a friendly, welcoming vibe, the staff are helpful, the breakfast on a terrace in the morning is a treat. During the day there are other people around visiting the facilities, and there is a small harbor for a few boats, but it all comes together to being one place of life and relaxed enjoyment and nature. For me, it does good to my stressed soul every time I stay there. Highly recommended.

Þessi dvalarstaður er með útsýni yfir Puruvesi-stöðuvatnið í Punkaharju og er í 100 metra fjarlægð frá ströndinni og í 25 km fjarlægð frá Kesämaa-skemmtigarðinum. The place was amazing. At first we thought it would be boring, but the longer we stayed, the better we enjoyed the stay. And the view from our cottage is amazing. We would definitely stay longer next time.

Gististaðurinn er við Puruvesi-vatn og er í 10 km fjarlægð frá Punkaharju. Það býður upp á veitingastað, einkaströnd og sumarbústaði með eldhúsi, gufubaði og verönd með útsýni yfir vatnið. My daughter liked the horse riding. The area around the main house is nice.

Þessir sumarbústaðir eru staðsettir í Visulahti-vatnagarðinum og Adventure Resort, í 6 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá miðbæ Mikkeli. Really nice place. We enjoyed the cottage with a fire and the beautiful surrounding. And the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook. We were there with our three kids and really enjoyed the place.
