Excellent value for money as the services include pick up from the airport as well as the provision of amazing activities and how flexible and accommodating the owner is. Each cabin is designed in such a manner that caters for your every need and it’s quite special - very well laid out. The food at the restaurant was out of this world and includes options that are very local and unique. They include and showcase local Finnish design and local Finnish products/produce. They even have some in house Reindeers who are quite cute and you can even feed them. The details on the property are indeed truly special and unique as most of the items are hand made by the family including a Floating sauna.

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. The property has its own reindeer paddock, where guests are welcome to watch and pet the reindeer. Free parking is available. The atmosphere was magical, the staff were all so helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. The booking process of all the activities was very smooth. I also like that they lend us free winter gear for the duration of our stay.

Very comfortable chalet by the lake. We saw auroras twice! You can walk on the lake anytime at night to admire the night sky. Very convenient for aurora seeing. No need to book tours. Right there are your doorstep. You wont be cold, plenty of heaters and an additional fireplace. You need a car to get there.

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort offers 2 à la carte restaurants, which serve Laplandic specialities such as reindeer and char-grilled salmon. The hotel’s smoke sauna even has its own restaurant, Savusauna. Quiet zone, spacious accommodation, super staff, well spread out with scenic beauty. A little distance from the reception and breakfast, but overall a good experience.
