Fantastic rural India experience in a resort facility. Super food! Fresh and served hot! Rooms are beautifully designed with traditional Indian rural architecture. We enjoyed all the activities- games, pump set experience, field walk, milking the cows and more. A must visit if you are on holiday to Chennai!

This family-run estate spread across 20-acres offers accommodation in Masinagudi at the foothills of the Nilgiris. This is the best vacation my parents and I among the several we took in the last 5 years. The resort has a rustic charm to it, the grounds and room are well maintained. You get to see deers, wild boars and langur monkeys within the property. Tracy and Gibran helped us with all our trip planning and any special requests we had for our elderly parents during our stay. All the support staff were amazing and helpful in every way. Thank you Jungle Hut for the wonderful memories, will definitely visit again.

The hotel is very special, into an old and totally renovated Chettinadu palace, the atmosphere is great, it was nice to stay two nights to enjoy the place. The food is fine and the staff is very helpful. I would suggest to make the Chettinadu tour from the hotel and the palce tour, both very interesting.

Excellent property nestled in a rustic atmosphere. Very well maintained. Has activities for kids and the quite quaint charm of the place is very relaxing. The restaurant serves delicious local food with healthy options. The Bathrooms are stocked with environment conscious herbal products.Staff is the USP here. They are very quick and attentive. Especially Ms. Treesa who was the best host. Will definitely return to this resort.

The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel, from the decor to the service, was remarkable. Overall, Gsilver Slate provided me with a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

After 3 weeks traveling in South India, this place is an oasis for the soul. The nature, the concept with the tents, the professional service - everything just fine and special. Mud blocks, natural finishing walls, nice pool, wonderful home made food. C19 safety measures followed... Well maintained property and its new and all at reasonable price. We would love to come back later nov. Pre-booked already :) for a week stay. The owner of the property is an passionate person.
