Enjoyed the stay a lot. Also a staff Bharat was amazing. We travelled with senior citizens and he made sure to guide them like family member through the pine tree trecking.

The biggest thing about Upasana is its amazing food - tasty, low oil, flavourful, fresh local ingredients, served with great care in a tastefully decorated dining room.. beats the more publicised Barishaler rannaghar, etc, anyday. The entire resort is squeaky clean and cheerful with seasonal flowers. Don't expect a big property, but a small cosy relaxing ambience. Must also write about the owner-manager Mr Dutta, who is a wonderful host and conversationalist, and staff who went out of their way to pack breakfast for us at 4.45 am as we had a train to catch. I am definitely going back to this place;
