SALT of Palmar, Mauritius, an adult-only boutique hotel, a Member of Design Hotels is set on the white sandy beach of Palmar on the east coast of the island, 1.7 km from Belle Mare. Everything, we have only been home a day but would go back tomorrow. The staff are incredibly attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Loic, Avi, Blessing, Priyanka, just to name a few of the amazing team at Salt. They really do make you feel at home. The feel of the hotel is so relaxed and chilled even though your in an amazing setting. We loved this as we didn't want to feel we had to dress up to sit and have a drink. We had an early flight and so arrived before we could check in our room. This didn't matter at all, they told us to go and help ourselves to breakfast, made us complimentary tea and coffee and a refreshing welcome drink. They even have a shower room you can use to freshen up before you can check in. We were keen to check out the beach so waited for our room to be ready there. And what a beach it is! The views from the hotel are spectacular 👌 We were there in winter but there was always beanbags or sun loungers free to sit on. They have a still or sparkling water station near the pool with fresh lemon, mint to get yourself a refreshing drink. There was suncream and body lotion dispensers in the toilets, which was so useful when your down on the beach. The activities planned by the hotel are fantastic, we particularly loved getting involved in the beach volleyball games which are held at the hotel next door. This added a social aspect to our stay and we made some great friends as a result. I would definitely recommend Salt of Palmar and we can't wait to come back!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. And I’ve been to a couple of very nice five star hotels. Service, food, cleanliness, everything just amazing.

LUX* Belle Mare offers luxurious accommodation, a spa featuring an outdoor treatment area and a 2 000 m² swimming pool. Most incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful facilities, interior and overall aesthetic of the place, very cozy. The Indian restaurant was peak and amazing, not to miss!

Stretching along 2 km of private beachfront and with an offshore coral reef, Constance Belle Mare Plage includes 7 restaurants and 6 bars. Nice sparse rooms with a good view. Everyday cleaning incl. preparing beds in evenings. The personnel was helpful and friendly. The restaurants are excellent with a very good food selection. The kids club was really good and our son (7y) enjoyed it.

Hotel was excellent, plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner, the food was delicious, and plenty of it. The staff (from chefs, to cleaners, and waiters) were amazing, could not do enough, nothing was too much trouble for them, special mentions to Marcela (Elvis) and Kavi, who went the extra mile the entire duration. All inclusive drinks list was impressive, plenty of choice, and plenty of it. Location was excellent, a little windy, but that was welcoming. Rooms cleaned every day. Would absolutely recommend this hotel for relaxing, great location and attentive holiday in Mauritius. We will be going back.

Seeing in our travel period the occupancy was under 20% we stayed a week and a big thanks to all the staff.Without them no hotel no hotel is anything! We were greater daily by the breakfast team with a wonderful breakfast buffet! Many thanks to Julie,Yasmin,Jessica,Bandana and our Chef Moonsamy who probably makes the best omelette we have tasted! The evening restaurant team and bar always made sure everything was fine with a 5 star rotation buffet menu! Special thanks to the Chef Sanguy who always had a smile for us and a small story! The whole kitchen team was fabulous! The hotel has many features and we enjoyed the beaches there and the pool! The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping crew with the floor butler looked after everything perfectly! Front office staff were very professional with concierge and the gardeners look after the property so it was a pleasure to enjoy the nature! I can recommend this hotel to travelers who want to relax and enjoy sophisticated food and service! My wife and son will be back and thanks to all involved to make our week stay memorable!

Cuisine: The food at the hotel was a highlight of our trip. Each meal presented a new and delicious adventure, featuring a variety of flavors that catered to every palate.
