We stayed for a week for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff were amazing, the room (penthouse, room 8B) was jaw-dropping, and the whole hotel feels unique and with a lovely atmosphere. The pool, gardens and whole site was a lovely place to be for our special break. We did a boat tour to Yelapa with Misael, who works at the hotel. He was great and would fully recommend this.

Every staff member was well informed, so kind, and made the entire stay so much more enjoyable. the ambiente was excellent, great food and drinks and the view from this hotel is breathtaking.

This all-suite hotel is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on Banderas Bay. The hotel offers a private ocean lagoon, 2 outdoor swimming pools and an on-site restaurant. Costa Sur is exactly as advertised. If you are expecting the 4-Seasons, you will be disappointed. The hotel is older and the non-renovated rooms are basic, but large. You don't come to this resort for the fancy amenities, you come for the ocean views, the private beach, and the affordability. The resort exceeded our expectations. The ocean views were fantastic, the room was large and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beach was private and protected so the kids could safely play in the water. It was a great stay!
