The service and staff were top notch - including a complimentary bottle of water and fresh cloth on our arrival. We even arrived early, and our bags were delivered to our suite while we were out on a tour.

Costa Sur is exactly as advertised. If you are expecting the 4-Seasons, you will be disappointed. The hotel is older and the non-renovated rooms are basic, but large. You don't come to this resort for the fancy amenities, you come for the ocean views, the private beach, and the affordability. The resort exceeded our expectations. The ocean views were fantastic, the room was large and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beach was private and protected so the kids could safely play in the water. It was a great stay!
