It was great that has multiple parking lots even though sometimes in the evening it could get quite crowded. The terrace is beautiful and offers lots of places where you can drink or eat(by the pond, in the courtyard with some statues and great lawn, covered...). Another great thing for families is the small kids place where they can spend their time and energy. The personnel was friendly and the rooms were clean. Besides cleanliness the rooms were quite well done, the beds comfortable and we've had even a small terrace with chairs and a small table to enjoy the sun and fresh air.

The hostess is very friendly and welcoming. Home cooked food was really good and plentiful. Location is about 30 minute drive out from Borsa which was perfect for our ski trip. There are also a lot of hiking opportunities around during summer time. The sauna and jacuzzi provided relaxing evening after the long day of skiing.

Add all that to an excelent and helpfull host and you got the perfect place to stay in Baia Mare at an excelent price for all (young/old/family/bussiness).

The location, the ambiance, the esthetics - all top notch We walked around the village to check on other accommodations - this one hands down is the best. Facilities are a bit rustic, but so is Maramures You don't need to look for ethnographic museum, you are staying in one. Host is amazing and very knowledgeable in all local affairs and itineraries Highly recommended
