The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at. It was run by this cute lady, who was very talkative, friendly and just enjoyed getting to know travelers. She made my stay super comfortable and I felt so at home here. I definitely want to come to Atami again just to stay here and see her again.

We got the Mon Suite. The room was huge for the 3 of us! It was clean and very spacious, it has everything we need and more. I like that it is children friendly. We love the private bath, dinner, and the staff. The views isn't too bad either!

Very Japanese, with tatami room and older Japanese style bathroom, bathroom and toilet were separated. Staff was very friendly and caring, they don't speak English and basic Japanese is very helpful here, though I would say it could be handled even without knowing a word in Japanese. This place is close to the train station (5-7 min walking), provides a simple breakfast (tea/coffee and croissant), we've also received some cookies on the check-out.

The house is from 1941, traditionnal style and I liked it. My room at view on the sea ! Sleeping on futon is always something I appreciate. I was able to reserve for the onsen. Walking into downtown is really doable as well. I wish I had planned things differently so I could spend one more night.
