The staff was very kind and helpful. The meals were fantastic - dinner, especially, was a multicourse affair, complete with fresh seafood and other specialties. They even accommodated some dietary requirements.

The room in traditional style was huge, with beautiful view. The hotel is on the hill, parkin lot is at the foot of the hill, there's an elevator directly to the hotel. They have nice onsen.

The onsen! Included in the hotel fee, but do note that you have to pay a (cheap) onsen tax. Nice, big room and located near good food places. Staff are really friendly and really helpful even though they don't speak very much English (but Google translate suffices). Free shuttle bus service to Kesennuma station (and I think even to Sendai station). The restaurant is pretty good too! (Better than some of the ones near the fish markets)

I loved the views, the location, the onsen, and the friendly staff. The room was large, clean and traditional, very comfortable and quiet.

Room was larger than is common in Japan, and spotless. Beds were comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. Upstairs onsen was a bonus, especially on a cold winter's day.

Though the location is a bit far away, the Onsen bath is good to take a break. The breakfast is good also.

This is a ryokan, run by the owners. The house is new, including all facilities like public baths with hot pools. Rooms are spacious. It is located slightly out of town Centre of Kesenuma. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. They will provide delicious dinner at a very competitive price.
