I booked this hotel for my parents. When I asked questions by email, their staff reply very quick and kind. My parents were really happy about all the service they got, enjoyed the bath, dinner and breakfast. I booked ocean view room for them, they said the view was amazing from the room, and also they could even enjoy the night view from the dinner place. Seemed like all the staff there is very kind and friendly, they felt very warm inside and they had an amazing stay.

The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

La senyora Shinko, que gestiona aquest petit ryokan des de fa 37 anys ens ha tractat a cos de rei, super amable i atenta. El sopar que haviem contractat, tot molt bo i ben presentat, amb algún plat amb influències de la cuina fancesa, com l'ostra escaldada en una crema de llet aromatitzada.El sahismi deliciós, una tempura impecable i uns niguiris d'anguila que no hi podien faltar. Vam tastar un parell de sakes, reconano el Dassai, millor que un d'una edició que van crear per una visita del Barak Obama. L'esmorzar japonés fantàstic i delicat. Comentar que l'aparença exterior de l'edifici, un pèl deixat, no fa justícia del que a dins experimentaràs.

Great stay in a historic building with a wonderful view from the top floor. The ryokan is very close to all the sights and is run by a lovely couple. The futons are comfortable and the private Onsen was nice. Breakfast was great, made from fresh local ingredients. Unfortunately no dinner is served on Mondays (we knew this beforehand) and because it was winter no restaurants (that we could find) were open for dinner. The local convenience store was our savior ;-) and after using the microwave at the ryokan to heat things up, we had a lovely meal in our room. If breakfast is anything to go by, we sure will have to come back sometime to try out dinner at the ryokan :-). Staying overnight is a great way to experience the island without the crowds and makes you appreciate the special place it is even more.

Beautiful traditional Japanese guesthouse with 8 rooms. It is about a 5 minute walk from the boat terminal. The room was small but spacious and appointed with the usual Japanese amenities and lots of little special touches. The mattress was comfortable and thicker than a traditional futon. I recommend enjoying the sitting room at the end of the corridor on the first floor. We enjoyed a local beer that we purchased from the guesthouse in there. The host is very friendly and accommodating and provides information on the island. The breakfast was very nice Japanese style meal. It was also extremely clean - I have stayed at a lot of places and this was the cleanest by far, not a speck of dust anywhere. I highly recommend staying here.

Està al costat de l'àrea de botigues i turística i es va a peu a tot arreu. El personal és molt amable. És un hotel ideal per quedar-t'hi quan visites l'illa per poder aprofitar la posta de sol al Tori, i l'endemà poder pujar al Mount Misen.
