Spectacular views of Nagasaki. Excellent kaiseki dinner (in room) and Japanese breakfast (in dining room). Wonderful staff who made us feel incredibly welcome despite language barrier. The property is affiliated with a much larger one next door which provides access to additional large public baths.

It’s an amazing place. Starting from the entrance with an artistic doors and walls long the escalator to bring us at the front desk. They have a large selection of yukatas, so you can chose the one you prefer. From the room with the view you can see the bay of Nagasaki. The onsen on the 3rd floor is lovely but the one on the 11th is amazing! It has a large pool outdoor from where you can see all over the city. If you stay at this hotel, you don’t need to go on the very top of the mountain. Both the dinner and the breakfast have an large buffet full of various exquisite food. They have a shuttle service to the station. Very happy with my staying.

The staff was kind and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel at home. They even helped me when my car’s battery die even though it was snowing. I can’t say enough about all of the staff. Dinner was delicious with an amazing view. Recommend it 100%.

The style of this hotel. The way the staff remembers your requests and cares for you. The scent of freshly cut lilies in the lobby. Beautiful spacious room bearing the atmosphere of the golden times it was built in, breathtaking views from the window, which you can open and breathe. And yes, a lifetime amount of fresh Nagasaki biscuits I consumed at a buffet-style dinner. And a big steamy traditional bath at the 3rd floor. And the cozy shuttle-bus to the station down the hill. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was great - big space for futons, a separate area for sitting and good access to our own bathroom toilet.. It was very quiet. It was a good walk from the railway station that helped get a feel for Nagasaki. From the ryokan it was easy walking to all the sights

Public Onsen was Tatami floored and was fun experience. I am not a big fun of raw fish, but "Kaisen-don" which raw fish topped bowl rice was so delicious.

Great for experiencing a proper Japanese style room with tatami mat floors and a futon bed. It’s also very spacious! The facilities are clean and modern. The couple who run the guesthouse are lovely and very helpful. They speak good English so easy to communicate if you don’t know Japanese.

Beautiful sea view! All rooms are facing the sea. Lovely Japanese tatami and futon room with huge windows. Very comfortable and chillax. This ranquil fisherman's villege made me feel like time slipped to 90's Ghibli scenes. As a bonus I found a French bakery running by Japanese baker. It was really delicious! Only 25 mins local bus ride from Nagasaki Station. Definitely worth to explore.

With beautiful city views from its best rooms and a top floor onsen, this hotel has a magical setting to relax and enjoy hot spring life in Nagasaki. The buffet dinners and breakfasts are impressive, with quality choices in a well-run restaurant. We also appreciated a voucher for drinks. A great experience, easy to travel to and from the city centre using the free shuttle bus.
