The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D

The onsen was an OK experience. Although nothing special, and suffering from the same maintenance issues as the rest, the outdoor hot spring was quite cosy. Also, sheets and room was fairly clean (although smelling smoke), and no bed bugs or anything similar. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but because my mother could not stay in her room due to the asthma, we left after 1 night. For this, the hotel was kind enough to refund the 2nd night. Which deserves mention. That increases the score.

Beautifully designed hotel and very spacious comfortable room with super comfortable futons and great bathroom. The female shared bath outdoors is really beautiful and peaceful. The food was very nice and the staff tried to accommodate us with their best English.
