It was whimsical and out of a fairytale, looks exactly, if not better than the pictures. I really regret not staying longer. Room was super vintage beautiful and clean, very big too. Facilities are good, hot baths were immaculate. I am 200% going back. This place was the best decision I have made last year. Highly recommend❤️ thank you for making my stay memorable❤️✨

We stayed for four days and visited various places around: the city of porcelain Arita, Fukuoka, Nanzoin (the largest bronze statue of Buddha), ... The connection is perfect, just 20 minutes by JR train from Fukuoka Hakata station. The scenery around is nice: hills, big dam, temple, and a well-kept garden. The staff is friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner were traditional and very well served in handmade porcelain bowls. We were in Japan for three weeks in various hotels. This accommodation and food was the best we had. Great experience.

Katie, who was the receptionist when we stayed there was very kind and helpful. It’s located in a small town, filled with kind people, as well as delicious food and tea. Really enjoyed our stay and we were inspired a lot by the craft.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The onsen in the room was fantastic. The room was huge and had a great traditional feel. The garden outside and the shogi screens really gave it a cosy feeling.

A Japanese breakfast can be enjoyed at the property for an additional fee. Clean property, comfortable and well located! Close to restaurants/bars/izakayas. The lady who welcomed us was so nice and helpful! We arrived late so she called some restaurants to see if they were still open so we could have diner. We found a big spider in our room and she helped us get rid of it. Very nice accommodation and wonderful host!

Air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms at this Ryokan feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a TV and kettle. For your comfort, you will find free bath amenities, towels, yukata robes and a hairdryer. Really nice location with food and station close by. Nice rooms and bath. Staff really nice even though we spoke little Japanese.
