Yurian is located in Ibusuki, 10 km from Ibusuki Onsen. There is a pool and hot springs bath on site. Pool and hot springs bath water are replaced 2 times a day. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Iseebisou is located in Ibusuki, 49 km from Kagoshima Station and 17 km from Chiran Peace Museum. Good location, can see sunrise and sunset. Excellent food, dinner have 4 courses with lobster 🦞

Bihadanoyu Koshikano Onsen has a hot spring bath and air-conditioned guest accommodation in Kirishima, 47 km from Kagoshima Chuo Station, 48 km from Kagoshima Station and 15 km from Kirishima Jingu... Very authentic Japanese onsen hotel with amazingly kind staff, brilliant food in their restaurant and private onsen!! It is located in a beautiful space surrounded by the mountains. I wish I stayed longer, it was truly an amazing experience and so relaxing.

Hanon～波音～ has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tatsugo, 1.1 km from Kurasaki Beach. 30 km from Amami Marine Exhibition Hall, the ryokan offers a garden and a bar. It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

Situated just 8.9 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine, Kirishima miyama hotel features accommodation in Kirishima with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as luggage storage space. The room is a basic tatami room with futon. What makes this place stand out to me are the numerous bath houses…there are 3 outdoor baths as well as an indoor bath. All can be accessed privately with a key system which makes it very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very kind and polite.

Location is best especially for visitors on short visits to Kagoshima.

Japanese-style rooms with Nitanda River views, green tea and traditional futon bedding await guests at Ryokan Kawakyu, located a 8-minute drive from JR Ibusuki Train Station. the staff was so welcoming and warm with us. it’s a quiet place.
