The nearest airport is Tsushima Airport, 12 km from the ryokan. The location was perfect with many shops in walking distance. The proprietor was very kind. The 3 breakfasts we got were different each day, authentic, and delicious. Room was cleaned everyday while we were out.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Beautiful setting in the Unzen National park area. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

The location was perfect right next to Unzen Jigoku and waking up to the view outside our hotel room was peaceful and prayerful. The private onsen in the room was heavenly and we took advantage of it sometimes multiple times a day. The meals (breakfast and dinner courses) were delicious and gave us a wide range of Japanese dishes. It was also nice to be able to walk down in our Japanese PJ's to relaxingly eat and gaze out the window on Unzen Jigoku. The service was very attentive. The rooms were very spacious.

Air-conditioned rooms have an interior in neutral colours, and come with a seating area, an LCD TV and a fridge. All rooms come with an attached bathroom with toiletries. Japanese-style rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. Price quality, amazing onsen experience with tons of food in the morning and evening. The bath is very nice and is large! For the price this might be one of the better stays in Nagasaki. But only if you have a car rental. If the dinner is to expensive, only take the breakfast. It is located 400 metres from Nagasaki Museum of History and provides luggage storage space. The ryokan has family rooms. great price for spacious room they let me check in early close to the train station supplied fresh yukata, toothbrush, cups, coffee etc even for second night out of two only
