At the ryokan, all rooms have a terrace and a private hot spring bath. Rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and free amenities. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The location was perfect right next to Unzen Jigoku and waking up to the view outside our hotel room was peaceful and prayerful. The private onsen in the room was heavenly and we took advantage of it sometimes multiple times a day. The meals (breakfast and dinner courses) were delicious and gave us a wide range of Japanese dishes. It was also nice to be able to walk down in our Japanese PJ's to relaxingly eat and gaze out the window on Unzen Jigoku. The service was very attentive. The rooms were very spacious.
