The most beautiful hotel in our Croatia-Slovenia tour! Just amazing… We chose to stay in the dépendance whose rooms are renovated with unique and sophisticated style, with a Liberty taste. We enjoyed the terrace so much that we would hardly leave the room… Almayer has all that you need and will remain the best memory of Zadar for us. The breakfast in the courtyard was superlative and for dinner - after trying hard to find a better option - we also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, in the winter garden: a fantastic gastronomic experience, with a really talented chef! The only reason you may have to leave this place is to see the Sea Organ (2 min walk) or Saint Anastasia cathedral (3 min walk). I don’t understand some past reviews with negative comments on the bathroom towels as they are of excellent quality, made of organic cotton and high hand design.

A great country to visit with plenty to see and do.
A great country to visit with plenty to see and do. Croatia has been in the pipeline for a while & I’m so glad I went. Not many countries make me go back but it’s ticked so many boxes for me. If you can hire a car, this would be really beneficial. Mountains, rivers, lakes & lush green clean countryside. Excellent & exactly what I wanted.

Zadar is an amazing city historically, really has every century covered since Roman times, but the beaches are not so good, you have to drive outside Zadar to find a nice beach. For 1 day stay it is okay if you plan to visits Plitvice Lakes from Zadar .

Zadar is a lovely place on the coast with great views, the place was very clean with no litter and limited graffiti. It had a very safe vibe about the place and the people were welcoming. The locals offer great excursions which you definitely shouldn’t miss out on. This was a cheaper holiday and was 100% worth the money

Brilliant city, we only had a few days and wished we had longer. I’d say you need a car to get around but because we didn’t need to use public transport I can’t really comment on how good it is.
Loads to see and do, went with a young family and they loved the sea organs!
Really lovely room (#2 of 4 in the apartment, all with private entrance), quiet, cool, with balcony and water view, a really modern vibe and quality decor and finishes. Thoughtful touches even better than a hotel room ( fridge, safe, top quality monogrammed bedding, coffee machine, great bathroom. And absolutely perfect location just at little piazza facing the pedestrian Bridge to Old Town Zadar. Bakery, cafes, bank, small grocery store all 1 minute away. We loved it. And what a sweet idea to leave us a little welcome gift!
Conveniently located on the old town, and a short three-minute walk to the Sea Organ on the northwestern corner of Zadar's Riva. We were greeted by the manager Elena who was incredibly helpful, friendly and had a wicked sense of humor. The main hotel was still closed due to COVID, and we were given a room in the Annex Building. While not as nice as the hotel itself, the room was clean and comfortable with great décor. A great little neighborhood and easy parking options made for a perfect stay.
A newly renovated, very well equipped and a perfectly positioned apartment in Zadar Old Town. Kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, as well as nice extras. The spotless and modern bathroom had shampoo and toothpaste and the washing machine had detergent. We didn't have to buy or use the basics we took with us. This apartment is stylish, comfortable and well managed. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Its not cheap to stay here but 5* quality comes at a price.
Famly run business. Well appointed kitchen.Residental locality with close bus stop into Zadar old town. 2 supermarkets and local bars and vegetable market, 3 minutes walk away. Free Air conditioning. 15 minute easy walk via shortcut into Zadar.
Free wifey.
Ivan was very helpful with things to do. Airport transfer about €30 (£25) cheapest around. Only larger shops and restaurants take card payments,so take some local currency.
Enjoyable 2 week stay.
Great location and value for a short stay in Zadar. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Nada, one of the hosts, was so sweet and suggested a great local place for our first meal in Croatia. It was incredibly convenient to have free parking so close to the city center as well, and though parking isn't guaranteed here, the hosts were nice enough to reserve a spot for us when we arrived (once we moved the car, we were on our own).
This hotel was a little more resort-like than what we had expected and is about a 15 minute walk outside the old town gates. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was here, including the buffet dinner the night we were too tired to walk to old town. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We especially enjoyed the salt water swimming pool after a long, tiring day.
The room was great, very spacious, comfortable bed, very clean, modern bathroom, bathrobes. Okay breakfast. Nice spa area (extra charge) with Finnish and Turkish sauna and whirlpool. We had massages and they were great. Excellent location of the hotel with views on the waterfront and in the beautiful old town of Zadar. We would come again! Excellent hotel!
A lot of the charm of the hotel comes from it 1)some rooms overlooking the square 2) the delightful ambience of the Corte restaurant which serves hotel guests 3) being in the old town and near the Sea Organ
Large, well appointed room - probably consider expensive by Croatian standards
Liked having hot tea and coffee stand right outside our room
The apartment was disappointing as it’s far below the 4 star rating it claims . However, its owners also own Tinel Restaurant in downtown Zadar where we enjoyed one of the nicest dinners in Croatia. The staff at Tinel restaurant (Boris and Nicolas) are wonderful and made us
feel very welcome. highly recommend the restaurant, not the apartment.
The hotel is really nice and close to the beach. The Zadar old town is just one bus away. The room has a fridge, a balcony and a tv. The bathroom looks even better than the photos. What is more the host is amazing, she helped us with every question we had. We really reccomend this place.
Location is great not far away from old town, easily reachable from Zadar airport( first bus to central bus station from there Bus no 8), just on the beach. Rooms are nice and clean. It has wellness and fitness options with reasonable price.
very very nice people, supportive and available always. Very clean and very close to the beach.
perfect breakfast.
in one word I can just say everything was perfect and if we go back to Croatia we will stay in this hotel again for sure.
it was clean, the staff was friendly, when we stay in 5 star hotels we get a cleaner in every day, the apartment doesn’t get serviced at all but it was ok for us as we were out all day and didn’t stay in the property much.
Phenomenal room, like in a 5 star hotel without such a price tag, great location near the Old City centre and close to Kolovare beach.
The host was also great and super helpful with all requests, really appreciate that!
An ok hotel located 10 minutes away from the old town of Zadar. Fairly forgettable, but the room was clean, the breakfast buffet was ok and the price was reasonable. The hotel was fine for a one night stay.
This is right in city center of Zadar and everything is very close. The room is very modern and clean. Shower is nice and was one of the best rooms I’ve had in Croatia. Book it, it’s worth the price!
The location was perfect for exploring old town Zadar. It was modern, clean and comfortable. The view was lovely. Ana is a very responsive host and made us feel welcome.
Everything….staff were just fantastic, hotel was spotless with a 5 star restaurant on site. swimming pool was a real bonus and only 5 minutes walk to the beach.
