This hotel has huge bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of amenities. Did not have breakfast so can't comment there. Highly recommend if you don't mind the shortish drive back to centre for dinner. We felt it was a bit much to walk which we like to do in the evening. Plenty of car parking at the hotel.Staff are very nice also.
If the hotel is running a good deal as we found on Booking.com then it is very good value.

The city is very clean and tidy, with lots of very nice places to eat. The castle is very well preserved, with a Military museum in one of the towers. One of the reasons we drove to Bragança was to see the Graça Morais art exhibition - she is one of Portugal's best contemporary artists, and she lives and works in Bragança - it was very good! Just north of the city, the Montesinho National Park has plenty of wilderness for trekking, biking and road trips.AndrePortugal - 8.0Scored 8.0

Bragança is a cozy little historic town, the main feature being the castle on the hill. Recommend walking along the river to get there. A little bit of a climb to get to the castle but not too bad. The beautiful ancient town of Braganca is a good choice for a short stay while being in Porto. The atmosphere of a place far from the beaten track makes it all worthwile. It offers a picturesque old town, numerous museums that one might visit for free, a park where one can stroll along the river and enjoy the views. Plus, there is a castle (Castelo de Bragança), which is a must-see on the list. Being there do not forget to drop in a Tourist Info where you'll find a superkind staff who will help you plan you trip in and around the place. To stroll around the castle during a late evening is great. Perhaps there are some outdoor activities. I liked the town so much, because it's pleasent to walk around - more pleasant than in other towns, but can't define exactly why so.

Braganca is a very welcoming city, the food is amazing. Variety of traditional and more groumet restaurants. The best pastry coffee shops! A wide range of delicious cakes. Great water to drink and to wash, your skin and hair will feel soft. It's very safe!

Slow season now so I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a room to myself. Big kitchen, various chill out areas, fast wifi and very clean. It was so comfortable I stayed a few more days! But even without the room upgrade; the hospitality of the host and the relaxing factor of the whole environment; I will definitely stay at this place if I visit Bragança again. 100% recommend!AmyHong Kong

We only stayed one night but it was very nice, the room is small but we used it only for sleeping anyway and it is quite confortable and we weren't even aware of the cold that was outside. Quite a nice breakfast, extra points for having Nutella available!! The restaurant is also very good, all of the food was excellent.
