Lyn was an incredibly gracious host. We stayed in the same space as she lives, which was a surprise, but she was careful to give us space and provided us with fresh croissants for breakfast. Instant coffee and powdered creamer were available but we brought our own. She was helpful in collecting any of our missing items that we ended up having to go back and collect, and at which point she was still very kind and gracious with us. We would certainly stay again. The Mansions have the honour of hosting the oldest licensed elevator in BC. The units are spacious and well appointed. The style is original, somewhat eclectic and cowboy boots wouldn't feel strange to wear here. The location couldn't get better in my opinion if you want to visit Vancouver. He even gave us a ride to our Camper pickup location nearby. Thank you John - it was a pleasure meeting you. Holland Villa can easily be reached by local transportation (skytrain expo line to 22nd street and bus 155). For breakfast we recommend „Amelias Breakfast“ place wish is just a 5 minute walk from Johns place. We totally recommend his place and wish both of them the best of luck!

There was one thing I thought was missing from the room (a reading lamp on the bedside table) and it was provided immediately. The location was great, in walking distance of some super eateries. I had a great supper at "Wild Thyme", a nearby Lebanese restaurant. Holland Villa was also very quiet and I slept well. My room was spotlessly clean and recently renovated.BruceSolo traveller
