    Puerto Viejo's hidden gem. Tropical Villa is without a doubt the place to stay while on your visit to Playa Negra. The host was a delight. He greeted and provided a tour to my group of the lovely property. It feels like a secret lair. Be prepared to hear the calls of monkeys and possible sighting of a sloth! Major shops, banks, eateries, and supermarket are less than a 15 minute drive. This location has everything one needs for the ultimate Costa Rican trip. Book it! You will not be disappointed.
