It was a magical stay! The one bedroom cottage give you an authentic Siwa feel. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There's also a small sit out area outside which was perfect. But the most special part was Mr Ahmed...what an amazing hospitable gentleman. He was there to welcome us at 6 am with a warm smile and during our stay made sure that we were very comfortable. He went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable trip. His team made us delicious meals too! Book this room if you are looking for a special place.

Once inside, it is an oasis of calm, hospitality and kindness. Hot water, electricity, wifi, comfy beds, great home made food and after the chaos of Cairo & Alexandria, beautifully quiet. How the hosts managed to establish this in an area 300 miles from civilization is amazing. Getting around is easy, the host organized a driver who took me everywhere I wanted to go.

There are very good vibes at Forest Camp and Naggar, the manager, is very helpful, calm and lovely. It's highly recommended (if you are not looking for a luxury accommodation). I will definitely come back here if in town.

The owner cooks with the staff, and personally looks after his guests. It's a great spot for couples, very quiet, not crowded. A retreat in all meanings. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. My husband fell sick during this trip, and the owner was very helpful, he provided special food for him. The owner also arranges sight seeing tours for the guests when needed. Over-all, I plan on coming back to this place again.
