Contessina del mare, villa in Panormos Rethymno

Situated in Panormos Rethymno, just 1.4 km from Panormos Beach, Contessina del mare features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from Museum of Ancient Eleftherna. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available.

The place was very clean and very well equipped. Each room has its own air-conditioning unit. The kitchen is wide with a large fridge. The staff was always available for help when needed. The owner Mrs. Christina was so warm and welcoming and made us feel at home from the first minute. Great sea view with a wide porch to sit and relax. The apartment is close to the village, only two minutes drive and there you can find supermarkets and lovely places to sit for beer or a meal. We loved the idea of being close to the big cities (Rethymno and Chania) but far enough to have peace and quiet. It was heavenly to wake up at morning with the singing birds.

We absolutely loved this place! It exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing stay. The hosts sent detailed instructions which were very helpful. We had an issue with the bathroom door and we had someone come to fix it the next morning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The washing machine was a bonus! The kitchen had all the things we needed for our stay. The pool and lounge chairs were perfect! The property was secluded and private so we were really able to relax. The sunset views were spectacular! We were very sad to leave.

Everything was top notch, all details taking care. It’s a dream house with a beautiful view and sunset. Perfect for 2 families, has a lot of privacy and house is big and comfortable. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. We are so glad we stay at paramus and not in rethymno, this is a very local greece town, much better than the busy and touristic rethymno.

This holiday home features 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and 1 bathroom fitted with a shower. A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Kallisti is located in the beautiful city of Panormo very close to the centre. You have lot of little shops, small supermarkets and lots of restaurants around the corner but it is still very quiet and you have a lot of privacy on both of the two terraces. The house itself is in perfect order, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The beds and pillows are a dream come true. I‘ve never slept better in my whole life. The kitchen is perfect for cooking although we didn‘t use them much because of the fantastic restaurants you have in a walking distance. The most astonishing is the host. Chrisoula is a very kind and friendly person who cares so much about their guests. We had a very warm welcome with even a lot of tradional cretean specialties like honey, wine, fruit and other yummie things. You could ask her any time if you needed to know something and she even provided tips like local festivals. She was the most caring host.

    Absolutely amazing hotel. Travelled Crete and this was by far the most wonderful hotel we stayed in. Staff fantastic and so helpful. Was given an upgrade to a two storey villa with pool which was luxurious. Spotless rooms and surroundings. Pools, beach, spa fantastic. Selection of food in buffet was incredible.

    Amazing Stay! We booked a family villa with a private pool, don’t regret it! Amazing hotel location and facilities are amazing, staff are very friendly and accomodating, excellent restaurants and restaurant staff are also very kind and helpful!     Whilst Marelina provide a good breakfast at extra cost we only used it on our last day. Previously we bought or own bread and croissants from the excellent bakers only 100 metres away. We like the location and have been here 4 times since 2018. Villas are close to the many restaurants, harbour beach. Staff really friendly and helpful.

    Location:10min walk from Panormos fishing village restaurants etc. Private pool and garden area. We booked before deciding to drive, says no parking but there is perfect safe parking beside the villa.

    The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating when I explained I was visiting for compassionate reasons. The food is like the luxury hotels you see in the west coast of America, fabulous. Would really recommend that if you are going to stay to book one of the more luxury rooms or villas for a breathtaking experience. If you’re going to do luxury in Cretan Greece do it here. THE #FLOATINGBREAKFAST!

    Sofia Luxury Villas is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It is very near Panormo and close to all the lovely tavernas and bars of the area. But you can’t hear the noise of the streets in the apartment. The whole place made us feel at ease. Sofia was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when she welcomed us. I would definitely come again!
