As per the name the cottage has a great view, it is very clean and everything you need for your stay is provided. We really liked the location, it is in a very quiet area, but close enough to restaurants, bakeries and the supermarket although you will absolutely need to rent a car to get around from here. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful people and made the stay very special. They helped us a lot throughout our stay, whenever we had a question or needed help they responded immediately. One evening they even surprised us with homemade dessert! One thing to keep in mind is that if you are scared of geckos staying in the cottage might be a little problematic, but everyone else should really enjoy their time so close to the incredible nature.

The view was amazing, you can see the mountain from the yard. Also you can see the ocean from all the three rooms. It was great experience for us to found this property available. Nice staff, she was available for us every time, we just needed to text her and get our response very soon. Also we found very beautiful equipments there(traditional or natural things). We enjoyed! We loved this secluded cottage in the woods by a rushing river. The hand built cottage with pine interior is comfortable and has all one needs in a mountain cottage. It is quite spacious and relaxing. The owner Sato-san is friendly and helpful. We had a great week. One does need a car, but then that's really helpful anyway to get around Yakushima to the trails, etc. A perfect place to avoid the crowds.
