We loved our stay at Angam villas. Shelom and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There had been a big storm the night before and a lot of rooms were without electricity. This was swiftly rectified and we had a very comfortable stay in our lovely room overlooking the pool. Shelom made us a traditional Sri Lankan dinner and wonderful breakfast. Angam villa lies on the south side of Colombo around a 20min tuk tuk ride to Colombo centre. This may not suit everyone, but we were at the end of our 14 Day trip and not looking to do much. Angam villa is very quiet and small so we basically had the place to ourselves, it was also end of high season in the beginning of May. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Our stay at Colombo VIlla was the perfect start to our time here in Sri Lanka. Despite our very late arrival from an international flight, we were warmly greeted at the front door and we slept so well in the super comfortable bed. The staff are very considerate and can't do enough to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Breakfast is delicious and extensive, and they kindly catered for my plant based dietary needs. At the end of each hot day, the very clean pool was a treat to return to and refresh before dinner at a locally recommended restaurant. There is plenty of hot water and good shower pressure, very effective wi-fi connection in our room and they provided fantastic suggestions for getting to know the city. Most areas are walkable, if you don't mind the heat, or short tuktuk rides away. We are staying again on our departure from Sri lanka, and are very much looking forward to returning to Colombo Villa.
