We had a 2 night stay at the villa and it was lovely! The staff was very helpful,friendly and attentive. Clean and cozy rooms. They had a lovely spread of local cuisine for all the meals which was really yummy.. No complaints.. Will be visiting again very soon..

The pool is lovely for a refreshing dip and downtime after a busy day sightseeing. Madhu, Sutha and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Thambu Illam.

I wrote to Nisha, the owner, and he replied that he would be in Colombo at that time and pick us up to the villa. We had a free transfer from the airport to the villa.
