An absolutely outstanding Villa. We loved everything about our stay. We’re a multi generational family, with three autistic children, so finding something to suit everyone can be a challenge. This Villa ticked all of the boxes. The beachfront location is beautiful. The sea was very rough when we stayed so too dangerous for the kids to play, but it didn’t matter. The pool was warm and shaded, with inflatables provided (the children loved this). Also, there are several beaches nearby. The Villa itself is huge, so plenty of space, and everything is so beautiful. What made our stay so special was the staff. Everyone looked after us wonderfully. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the Villa every night bar the last, and the food was exceptional. It was my nieces birthday whilst we were there and the staff made a special effort to arrange a cake and fireworks on our behalf. They even decorated her place at the table with flowers at breakfast time. Such a special place, we were extremely sad to leave.

There were great restaurants to Tuk Tuk to for amazing dinner which were less than 3km away! The pools to swim in, in front of the villa were great and there was a lovely calm bay.

The villa has a great location with easy access to the beach and just 10 mins away from Galle fort.. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the villa was very clean and of exceptional standard. In addition the food was amazing, we had Sri Lankan food as well as more Western cuisines and it was probably the best food I had during my trip to Sri Lanka. Most importantly the rooms were spacious and clean and had great views overlooking the beach . Really enjoyed my stay at Candella House.
