BRIECH HOUSE, villa in Asilah

Set in Asilah, BRIECH HOUSE is a recently renovated accommodation, 31 km from Ibn Batouta Stadium and 38 km from American Legation Museum. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service.

Everything was just perfect! Our host Hicham was genuinely friendly and attentive. He met us personally, and helped us settle in. The little house itself is lovely and in an immaculate condition. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare one's own meals and since there is also a big-screen TV, there is no need to go anywhere on stormy days. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful with lush pastures, hilly slopes and the wild Atlantic Ocean with its vast, sandy beach. The walk down the hill from the bus stop (we took a bus from Tangier, so the house can easily be reached without a car) is amazing. There are plenty of farm animals around, cows, sheep and hens, and many cats that we grew very fond of. There is also a little store by the highway (less than 1 km from the house), where you can get basic foodstuffs (water, bread, eggs, milk, some vegetables, etc.). Overall, Hicham's place is ideal for those guests who like some peace and quiet, and want to experience Morocco's beauty in a less touristy area on the Atlantic beach.

The house was large, very spacious and very clean. All the rooms have their own shower etc and plenty of cupboard space, the decor was really nice and overall the house is very welcoming and a perfect villa for a large family (we were a group of 10). The pool was really nice and the view over to the sea was spectacular! The garden facilities are great esp if you have kids, with a large football pitch and play area. The villa is in a very quite and rural area, very peaceful and a great place to stay if you just want to get away from it all. The beach is just a 10 min drive (but be prepared for a rocky drive down a dirt track), but once you get to the beach it is stunning, with an amazing coastline and beautiful scenery, the beach is very remote and we had the very large beach all to ourselves most of the time! The host was very helpful and friendly, and anything we asked for he was able to help with.

    This very luxurious, spacious home is by far the best we've stayed in while travelling Morocco. The buffet breakfast is extraordinare! Bahia is a very friendly host and excellent cook!

    the place is clean, right on the beach, the breakfast is super decent and the host amazing and very helpful, it's a village so you have to walk to the main road to get public transport which is extremely cheap (less than a euro to get to Assilah or Tangier) Bottom line, if you're on a budget and want a quiet place right on the beach, you can't go wrong with this one!

    Great location on the main road into Asilah - the manager Abdel was a perfect host working hard to making sure I was comfortable. Breakfast at the time of my choosing was exceptional . Whilst not a luxury hotel it was prefect for a short stay close to the old town and beach.

    We enjoyed one night at the Riad Aicha before having to leave early to get our travel COVID tests. The riad is centrally located and within walking distance to everything in town. The rooftop also has great views of the surrounding village and night sky. Mohammed was incredibly helpful, and found us a taxi to Tangier for a last minute train to Casablanca. We can’t thank him enough for his quick help and willingness to sit with us at a cafe for a half hour until our cab showed up.
