The quiet village of Vratnitsa, where the hostel is located, has a very special vibe. But things become even more special once you go up into the mountains. There are some magnificent trails, starting from the next village, which is walking distance from the hostel. The owner of the hostel is very very accommodating and friendly; he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable in every way, and helped organize my trips. Highly recommend and I will be back to see more of the Sar mountains!

The owner is super friendly and outdoor-affine, making the best out of your stay. The breakfast was great and there is a communal kitchen where we cooked our own meals. Exploring the small villages with friendly people around is another great plus!

It turned out that we had booked a room with 2 single beds (buck beds) but we received a free upgrade to the double bed.
