This is a modern house set back 100 meters or so from the main road. Very quiet. Not many lights in the area so wonderful stargazing from the yard. Beds were super comfortable. I took mine apart trying to discover the manufacturer. The owners kept in steady contact and the lady that met us was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor maintenance issue that she resolved very quickly. It is a few minutes' drive from the best beach on the island, so a perfect location.

Very clean and well-appointed. Everything seemed very new. The two bedrooms and the front, ocean-facing common room were a good size and had excellent air conditioning. The outdoor covered deck was a great place to have a meal or read a book. The rental company contact was very responsive and helpful. The location was excellent, a one minute walk from a very nice stretch of Matira Beach.

The bungalow was fantastic: private pool, great shower, soft bed, proper kitchen, topical decorations delicious breakfast (owner is a former chef), washing machine, amazing view of the mountains. Anything you might need on your vacation. The host, his wife and their dogs were very friendly and welcoming. Fred also drove us back to the ferry to the airport. There is also a small gift that you get at the end, but I won't spoil the surprise. There is a roulette (food stand) nearby (2-3 min walk) although the host also offers dinners for an additional charge.

We stayed in the best overwater villa on the resort first so we were worried moving to a garden villa after would be disspointing after such an amazing water villa but we were very surprised! The garden villas are spacious with a big private patio/garden. You don't get the same privacy in a water villa! It was very beautiful and relaxing and of course the use a private pool is amazing. We also noticed the pool was a lot warmer than the water villas and obviously not as much breeze either.
