We were met by the host on arrival, who was mowing the lawn. Very tranquil location and it was clear not many UK tourists visit Miuzela and the surroundings. Make sure you stock up with cooking/ eating supplies if you arrive at the wekend as not many places are open to shop or eat. Lovely house with excellent garden and pool. Lot's of medieval castles to see within 45 minutes drive along deserted roads. El Contro (bar opposite house0 was very kind to sell us milk and water and a few beers with the locals. If you dont speak Portuguese brush up on your Spanish and French as English is not used much in these parts.Parking is on site and simple.

Very quiet place in a historical village. The panoramic view is exceptional complete in the natural environment. The house is built on the rocks, that gives a typical ambiance. The flat is cosy and there is everything you need. And the most important: we have the opportunity to discuss with the owners, Luis and Ester, they are very warm, welcome and passionate about their village / history / region. The description and the pictures of the web site are faithfully with the place.

The location is perfect. In the middle of a small valley, far from towns and villages. It is quiet, relaxing, comfortable, very well kept. The whole precinct is very nice, with pool, sheep grazing below, and cats playing around. The room has all amenities, well equipped kitchen, well furnished. The bathroom is nice and spotless. The fireplace is very pleasant, specially on a cold rainy day. I reached the place walking, it's a 10 km easy walk, no problem unless one has mobility issues. Two kilometers uphill the quinta is village Trinta which has bakery, pharmacy, and a small village shop with the sweetest granny that has ever sold cheese to You. Overall, the area feels very authentic, I very much enjoyed walking through the countryside and the villages.
