My friends and I especially appreciated the any-time key collection- making it super easy to settle down after arriving from ferry at nighttime. The hosts were really helpful as well and responded quickly and assuringly when we encountered a hitch before arriving at the cottage.

The cabin is the loveliest place - really beautifully designed, with lots of fascinating little features. It was in a charming wood near the sea, and just a few minutes to a rocky and sandy beach which we could walk along for miles. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and they made our stay really special. Gotland is a magical island - a lovely natural setting and a long and interesting history. The walled medieval town of Visby, a 10-minute drive or 40-minute cycle from the cabin, was endlessly fascinating.

the location was not in the middle of the city, but very good for us as it was a nice and quiet area, a great place for sunset seeing! the place itself was nice and cosy! The landlord places even 2 bottles of welcoming drinks which were very sweet idea, especially after a hot travelling day.

Everything just perfect - a very cosy, comfortable, very well equipped, clean and warm all- year house (with quite effective heating!), surrounded by beautiful pine trees, with great view of the sea, and singing birds accompaning the poetic fiery sunsets. Lots of fossils on the nereby beach, many interesting places around. And - last but not least - Torgny is the nicest host you can imagine.

Some of the more critical comments I read in other reviews are valid to an extent - this isn't luxury living - but for the price paid in such a great location, it certainly evens out.
