I can’t say enough good things about this gem of a place. The decor, attention to detail, and general vibe of the Karoo Moon House was incredible. It was a real shame we couldn’t stay longer - it would have been a perfect long weekend. We also really appreciated the little extras that were provided in the house. We would come back to Barrydale just to stay here!

We recently found ourselves having to overnight, unexpectedly, in Barrydale. “Marigold” came up in our search: the accommodation was very clean, very neat, very spacious, and super-duper high tech – the superb kitchen, especially, was kitted out with ALL the usual facilities, appliances, and much much more (just too numerous to mention here). Also, the Wi-Fi is absolutely high-speed, as advertised (390 Mbps on our phones), and connects lightning fast. There are more than enough charging points in ALL the rooms! Beds are very comfortable. Lots of interesting historical reading material, which travellers/visitors will simply adore. This accommodation is truly exceptional – you will NOT be disappointed. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Well done, Sean…!!
