When we arrived early, they were waiting on us and had tea, fruit, and snacks. In fact, when I broke the glass on top of his stove, he told ne not to worry about it. No need to say it was exceptional, Abir is a wonderful cook. They helped us with everything. We had to wake up early in the morning to go to Abu Simbel and Khalid offered to take us across with his motorboat as the ferry was not working those hours. His wife even prepared us lunchbags. My husband also got sick throughout the voyage and They would continuously come to check if he was okay, and make tea with lemon and herbs. The most hospitable people I have met in Egypt. We also had doubts as to how to travel from Aswan to Luxor while stopping at Kom Ombo and Edfu. Khalid offered to organize a driver for us at a fraction of the minibus or tour prices. And while being transferred from aswan to luxor, he even called the driver to check on us. The kindest people in all Egypt. Big heart, comfortable home with lots of space and very clean. Great food. This place has it all. Thank you!
