The house was beautiful and close to local amenities. We were attending a wedding at Virgina Park lodge and this was the perfect place to stay less than a 10 minute drive from the venue. Anne was a wonderful host. She popped in to say hello and gave us some tips on local cafes and restaurants. The essentials in the fridge with some home made bread and sandwiches was a lovely welcome treat. The house is spacious and comfortable and plenty of space on the drive. Overall a delightful stay.

Quiet countryside studio apartment - recently renovated and amazing views, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y patio a unos 15 km de Castillo de Trim. We had excellent communication with the host prior to arrival and to arrange picking up the keys at a time that suited us. They also helped ensure a travel cot would be in the house and were prompt to rwply to any queries even a few weeks agead of the stay. The house was immaculate, and had clearly been cleaned to a high standard. We stayed in the house ourselves so only used two of the four bedrooms, but this house would be ideal for a large family trip. The grounds of the house were great and the kids had plenty of room to play in the garden. They also loved the board games left out in the kitchen for guests to enjoy. Highly recommended. This was an ideal spot for us to visit Trim castle and Emerald Park as well as visit family in Navan a short drive away.

It was perfect for our family and we felt at home. Any questions I had were answered quickly and host was friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more, would definitely return.

Connells Barn Conversion está en Duleek, a 12 km de Centro de Ecología Sonairte, a 13 km de Dowth y a 14 km de Hill of Slane. Connells Barn is everything it looks - a smart conversion from a historic building into a most pleasant base for exploring the Boyne Valley and beyond. The host is wonderful and she has thought of everything - the place comes with a manual, and you are well advised to run trough it upon your arrival - it is very informative. The other pleasantries you can find are just too numerous to count, from a welcome package ont the table, to a filing cabinet filled with assorted destinations and activities. Karla (the host) definitely sets the bar high for other hosts. The location is easy to find. It is near too many interesting sites for the time we had, so a lot is left unexplored, but it just gives us a reason to return.

Location of this beautiful property is ideal for sightseeing around the Boyle Valley and the wider area. Information from host Karla made it so easy to visit areas of interest during our two day visit. The appearance of the house, the garden, the inside, all had the wow factor. The cleanliness, the decor, the space and comfort made our stay so enjoyable. The history of restoring Connell’s House was very interesting and the end result was amazing.
