Such a unique place to stay. We saw the Northern lights when we stayed there for 1 night in Jan 2024. There are heaters and free hot drinks available from the reception. Hot chocolate is my personal favourite

Just the best place I’ve stayed in Iceland during all my journeys there! Very comfortable home with amazing surroundings - and you can see horses and sheep grazing around you. The home has everything you need for an enjoyable stay there, and the hot tub was a really cool bonus after the long road trips around Iceland! The staff was so friendly and they responded very fast if you needed something, the beds were comfortable and it was warm inside the house. I would recommend this property to everyone who’s going to explore the south coast with a group or family!

Wonderful huge villa in the countryside. Quiet! Hot tub with view of the sunset. Simply amazing. Easy to check-in and check-out. Perfect to explore the Golden Circle corner. Selfoss with supermarket etc is not too far.

We had a flat tire when we got to the property and the host went out of his way to help us fix it. Way beyond any expectations!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!! This place is highly recommended in all aspects. I will be staying here again.

This was the most amazing place we stayed during our travel to Iceland. The location is perfect if you are planning to do the Gloden circle in more than 2 days. Situated close to Reykholt in the South Iceland region, Blue View Cabin 5A With private hot tub has a terrace. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen. One of the best places we've ever stayed at. Secluded, yet close to all the Golden circle attractions. Good heaters to dry your clothes after a rainy day. The hot tub is epic. Beautiful design inside. Easy to find and enter.

Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub is situated nearby Reykholt. This property offers access to a terrace. This holiday home has a patio, a living room and a flat-screen TV. We stayed in Cabin 5B. The cabin was well equipped for our two night stay and was very clean. The bed was really comfortable and the cabin was warm and cosy. The cabins are in a rural area which was very nice as it was quite peaceful, the golden circle and nearby attractions are easily accessible by car. We were really lucky to see the northern lights on both the nights we stayed. Would definitely recommend staying in the cabins and we will be back.

Set in Hella and only 22 km from Thjofafoss, Afternoon Cottages offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden views. The remote area is fantastic - beautiful views everywhere, very quiet, surrounded by nature! The cabin was warm and the heating system was perfect for the size of the cabin. Internet connection was perfect - very fast internet and coverage into the cabin. Perfect place for good relax!
