We stayed there for my Boyfriends 30th Birthday which I informed them of before arrival and upon arrival there was a cake and balloons on the bed which they didn't charge me for it was so lovely. The breakfast was huge, we got the sri lankan breakfast on both mornings and it was basically a 3 course meal. We were down by the main pool one day and they brought us some delicious juice. We also had lunch there one day which was freshly made. It's a little far out of town but they run a free tuk tuk service so it's not really a problem.

The weather in Ella is healing after hot beaches. We stayed in Rokkyhill for 7 days and would definitely stay longer. Kanchana prepared delicious breakfast and took care of everything we requested. She is very kind and friendly. We also rented a bike from her when we needed for the same price as in Ella. Walking downhills towards the railway you could find lots of authentic local cafes.

This villa with mountain views features carpeted floor, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and slippers. A private entrance leads guests into the villa, where they can enjoy some fruits. The accommodation is non-smoking. Super friendly family hosting us. Very warm welcome, nice and calm location in the jungle. Sunrise is very nice to see from the balkony. The breakfast is delicious and more than you can finish. We had dinner once, which was also very tasty. Mosquito nets available. Its a nature cottage, with some minor always-open parts, so there might be some insects also inside. Don't confuse the very good rating with a 5* hotel. That's not what is being promoted :)

As an added convenience, Astral Zone Cottage ELLA offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. It was utterly charming. The cottage was quiet except for the sounds of many birds. The hosts could not of been nicer and so helpful. The food was unbelievable, and beyond amble portions. Gourmet Sri Lankan Food I will never forget. Sitting out on the beautiful veranda overlooking the garden and distant hills was magical. The owners also connected me with the best tour/ tuk tuk driver ever. He not only took me to where I wanted to go he stayed with me ready to help me. Plus he suggested places off the tourist norm and really made my stay special.

All rooms are fitted with a balcony with views of the mountain. Perfect comfortable room walking distance to town! Sweetest family, delicious breakfast every morning, so helpful with anything and everything I needed. So kind of the dad to drive me around in the tuktuk as well, it was so helpful. 10/10 great stay here

There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Such a beautiful stay and a very kind and accommodating family. The father drove us everywhere in his tuk tuk and the daughter helped my mom plan a big birthday surprise compete with a cake for myself and my sister. The daughter even came up to my room and brought me chocolate for my birthday! This place is peaceful and clean. They have everything - laundry service, breakfast, a driver, and more. We loved staying here.

All units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. Stay was really really good. At first I was in doubt but when I went inside the property, it was really amazing. Well maintained with all the facilities mentioned. Breakfast was really great. We couldn't eat all of the items which were kept. Would have stayed longer if I knew the place was this great. The plan was already done so stayed for a day here. The view from the balcony is mesmerizing.
