The swimming pool, the peace and quiet, the lake.. we didn’t even pay attention to the villa itself and still it was gorgeous and comfy. But the service, the place the location. Wow! We saw buffalos from the room, a crocodile, peacocks… it was AMAZING

Wild Lotus is fully staffed and the rate includes services of a private chef, guests can order from a thoughtfully crafted menu. We definitely had a "wow" effect upon check-in, property is very nice, very quiet, we just wish we could have stayed longer as it was a one-night stay only, with a very early check out due to safari trip.

Everything, I loved this hotel, it's worth every penny. The staff were so friendly, and actually very supportive. They helped me pack breakfast for the safari and it's so delicious (but the breakfast we had there in the morning was on a far next level). They put heart in what they do, i.e the pleasant scent in our room, the mosquitoes sticks on the balcony, the little light/candles along the way,... so many other things I like. We made a good choice booking a safari tour with the hotel, their tour guide, China (yes his name is China) has been doing his job for 20 years so he knew the best about the safari. We were able to see the majestic leopard thanks to China 🥰

The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They repeatedly went out of their way to make sure we had the best possible experience. The amazing staff really made this hotel stand apart from others.

The place they have is a real oasis among those we visited so far, hidden away, quiet, calm and perfect to relax and rest after visiting Yala park. Cabanas are near the river and surrounded by garden which provides a little safari in front of your window: tens of birds, monitor lizards, mongooses and many others. Real gem. Try it!!!

Located in Tissamaharama, this villa is 8 km from Tissa Wewa and a 15-20 minute drive to the Yala National Park. The villa has air conditioning and free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. The place was designed in a special way that blends in with the outside nature, the host was amazing and unusually kind. All our needs were taken care of flawlessly. The food at the meals was very indulgent. We had a great experience and it's a shame we didn't stay more nights in this magical place!

Never seen anything like it! We saw a big monitor under our villa We obviously had some concerns but the house turned out to be very stable. There is no a/c but there is a fan. There is no windows, just nets for bugs so it is quite noisy in the morning from all the birds. The host is very nice and the breakfast was good - some eggs and toasts and fruits
