Beautiful house, big bedrooms, all ensure, balconies, private pool at the house, view of the sunrise and sunset and the sea, monkeys and birds all around, friendly staff, a golf cart to get around, the Estate general pools to swim in, access to the beach, a stones throw from swimming beaches or Ballito shops, feeling safe. We can't wait to go back!

The Croft is located in Hilton, 11 km from KwaZulu-Natal Museum, 12 km from Umgeni Valley Nature Reserve, as well as 13 km from Comrades Marathon House. The Croft is a special place full of serenity and serendipity. Lizzi was so attentive, lovely and welcoming, the staff are great, the rescue animals will steal your heart. Location is amazing, convenient, safe and not far at all from the meander. The property is breathtaking from the minimalist interior, to the grounds, to the trees that sing in the wind, to the evening fire place, the sweet touches Lizzi puts in to make you feel welcome. It’s the ideal home away from home for a midlands getaway. Won’t stay anywhere else from now on. Don’t even second guess, just book it :)

Featuring lake views, Forty Winks features accommodation with balcony, around 29 km from Drakensberg Reserve. With river views, this accommodation offers a patio. Highly recommending this hotel! Value for price is exceptional, I did book a suite with two bedrooms and a large living room plus kitchen incl. balcony, all was really clean and modern, the owners were answering quickly and I felt super safe on the property! There are options to go for a walk on the large property and see zebras etc. Could not do that but that's an extra plus.
