Lakshita (the son) was very helpful and cooperative. He tooks us to many places and charging was very economical. Will surely stay again if I ever come to Kandy. I recommend this place for families. Lastly, the view from this place is very nice too.

Sami and Aline are exceptional hosts, consistently ensuring we had everything we needed. Sami went above and beyond by driving us to the hospital and facilitating a visit to the doctor. His wealth of knowledge about local attractions enhanced our experience; be sure to tap into his recommendations. The availability of a car and scooter further added to the convenience. The apartment itself is wonderfully comfortable, but what truly captivated us was the ever-changing landscape. Our favorite pastime was spent on the terrace, soaking in the breathtaking views and observing the local wildlife. While the kitchen met our needs adequately, we particularly enjoyed indulging in plenty of brewed coffee. The inclusion of a spacious and cozy bed, reliable WiFi, unlimited hot water for showers, and provided drinking water made this place an ideal retreat for us. Without hesitation, we would gladly book again if our travels bring us back to the hill country.

It had a nice view from the balconies and it had many places to sit, relax and, eat. The apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It had modern, new furniture throughout, and lots of outlets and lighting choices. We ordered breakfast and dinner from the host and both were delicious. They offered a good laundry service at a reasonable rate. We appreciated the provided drinking water and the super fast wifi in the living room. We enjoyed having so much space to spread out. We knew the location was far from town so we traded the walkability for the stunning views. We recommend getting Uber or Pickme on your phone for easy and cheap tuk tuk pickups.

Nestled in the hill with spectacular mountain views from the lounge and the bedroom. The apartment is modern, clean and just a joy to be in after a long days walk. It is super peaceful and Sathis the owner is so friendly. He will do anything for you, nothing is too much for him. I think he is one of life's kind humans. Value for money it soooooo is!!!! If you are coming to Kandy stay away from the centre and stay here in the hills. It is only a stroll to the town anyway or tuk tuks are around all the time if you didn't want to walk. Felt much like a home away from home. Owner Sanjeewa, wife Hansi and son Oshane were amazing hosts. We shared meals and drinks over great conversation. Toured the neighborhood and met the neighbors. We even bathed in the natural spring in front of the homestay and just down the hill. Boscage (def: forest) Homestay is located in an upper middle class neighborhood in the hills surrounding Kandy. The interior of the home is like a museum of Sri Lankan crafts amd artifacts. The home is split into two floors, with the host family living on the first floor and guest rooms on the second. The two guest rooms are separated by a communal kitchen, dining and seating area. All areas of the second floor allow for sweeping views of Kandy and the surrounding hills amd mountains. The property is clean, comfortable, affordable and well situated above the bustle of town. As mentioned by other guest reviews, this is a homestay and not a guesthouse. This property would best serve guests who are interested in sharing experiences with a beautiful local family. Though privacy and independence are possible, it would defeat the intent of the hosts.
