Everything. Our hosts, Ria and Lorenzo, were exceedingly friendly, helpful and kind. Location could not be better as was every aspect of Villa Vauban. Hopefully, we will stay again when the Menin Gate is reopened.

This is a lovely B&B, centrally located in Ieper - only 10 minutes walk from downtown and the Menin Gate. Parking available. The room is very well appointed, the bed is comfy, and the air conditioning works! We did not include breakfast in our stay so I can’t comment on that. Everything is very clean and neat! There is a narrow staircase to negotiate, but we had no trouble. Franky is a wonderful host, who was available to help with restaurant suggestions and sightseeing options. Ieper is a beautiful city that is well worth a visit!

The owner of the inn was great. I had lost a diamond earring earlier in the day and didnt want to go to dinner but then I felt a little sick with no food. He made me a toastie which was great. Breakfast in the morning was not only great but right on time at 7:30Am. I would stay there again.

It is close to the station and to the city center, but on a nice quiet street. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with everything you could need for a short stay. Breakfast was truly outstanding (coffee and tea, pastries, bread rolls, cereal, yogurt, toast and eggs, homemade jam…) and served on the landing outside the room, which was really convenient. Highly recommend @Cocoon!
