Featuring a garden, Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 is situated in Sarapiquí, within 35 km of La Paz Waterfall Gardens and 38 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido. It is located 33 km from La Paz Waterfall and features private check-in and check-out. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

A bungalow out in the forest, quiet a bit from the reception. Very dark in the evening but interesting and no problems to sleep.

The property is in a quiet place, adjacent to a forest, can spend the day doing nothing. Only good if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, a bit away from modern amenities. We stayed here to visit the nearby Braulio Carrillo National Park. The host is flexible and friendly, complete kitchen available with refrigerator, microwave, stove, utensils etc

Impressive complex with spacious rooms and great shower facilities, with great location close to river and forest. As a single traveller who usually stays in smaller cosier places, I found the La Selva to be unsurprisingly aimed at wealthier international couples and families and thus didn't find it that friendly, but that's perhaps inevitable and not a disrespect to La Selva.

Yatama is a very small lodge located in a private reserve. Pedro, the owner, made us feel welcome. He also doubles as our guide. The stay is amazing and includes daily morning and night tours. The food from Alba is fantastic.
