For breakfast everything is home made and sooo delicious! The owners are extremely friendly and they give you all the information about the island, update you with the latest events on the island (for us it was the eruption of the volcano). Just the place to be! Highly recommended 👌

We had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most intense cyclones of the recent years together with Isa and Steph in their beautiful house in Le Tampon. As we have never been exposed to such severe weather conditions before, we were a bit nervous ahead of our stay, but our hosts did everything they could to make us feel safe and comfortable in their amazing home. We cooked together, we did yoga, had great conversation and we believe we could not have found a better place to spend those hours during the storm than with them. Thanks for opening both your home and hearts for us. We enjoyed every minute.

This place is a superb two-storey granny flat out the back of Aliettes's house. It is much more beautiful than the photos here. It is surrounded by lovely foliage and the terrace is very nice. Inside, there is more than enough space for a couple. The kitchen is well-equipped and the hosts really respect your space and privacy (unlike some airbnb hosts who do a lot of interfering lol). Perhaps the best thing about this accom is the value for money - so cheap for what it is! Strongly recommended to book this for your stay in Réunion. You will not regret it. Our expectations were massively exceeded.

Offering a garden and mountain view, L'ESTAGNON is situated in La Plaine des Cafres, 13 km from Volcano House and 15 km from Saga du Rhum. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Peak of the Furnace is 37 km away and Trou de Fer Viewpoint is 43 km from the bed and breakfast. The couple who owns the place are so nice, even though they hardly speak English they tried so hard to communicate and make our stay even more enjoyable. Also very early breakfast (with local products) was no problem. Honestly one of the nicest people we ever met.

The property offers garden views. Our stay was really nice ! The room was very comfy and had a good size, the bed was also very comfortable. The pictures don't do justice to the place! Is a very good base to hike the Grand Bassin or Pitón de la Fournaise (is like 50 min drive to the parking where starts the hike. The road is quiet good, so it could even done during the night if you want to start your hike early and avoid staying in the Volcan Gite). Remember to book your dinner in advance! Our dinner had very nice starters, soup and the main dishes were shrimp and chicken curries! Dessert, punch and wine included, really worth it ! Breakfast is also offered starting at 07:00 in the morning.
