Santa Fe is a beautiful old town, with truly original Spanish colonial architecture. Really better explored by walking, or maybe a 3 wheel motorized cart, or motorcycle, but not by car. There is very little parking, and the narrow roads in the old center don't accommodate 4 wheel vehicles. We found excellent restaurants using Google maps, inexpensive to very affordable. We enjoyed the Museo Juan de Corral for local history. The churches are very beautiful.

I haven't stayed in Santa Fe de Antioquia for a long time, they have done an excellent job improving the tourist sites and the quality of the restaurants. I was surprised by the quality of the craft brewery that works in the main square.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
A beautiful town with great ambience, from the picturesque...
A beautiful town with great ambience, from the picturesque Plaza Major, the streets around, to Plaza Menor. There are lots of small cafes to enjoy delicious jugos, great coffees and cakes plus satisfying meals. I wish we’d had longer in order to explore a bit more and also simply to relax. .. it’s perfect for that. The tourist information office is extremely helpful, justly proud of their town.

Lovely town, easy to walk..several things to see and do in town or around. Churches, plazas (some of the best in Colombia), market stalls, atmosphere.....lovely and somewhat different feel from other colonial towns.

We liked the fact that it is a traditional colonial village with very few tourists. A great zocalol (square) with with trees and large blooming bushes. Many people gathered in the square at night when it was cooler.

It's a beautiful, relaxing town. It's somewhere to go when you want to relax and slow down and not do too much. The architecture of the town is beautiful, the main park is lovely and there are many good places to eat.

The location is excellent, three (uphill) blocks to the edge of the old town in a local neighborhood that is more authentic and fun than the historic part (which is all boutique hotels, restaurants, and shops). The large pool is wonderful for swimming laps (except on weekends when there are noisy kids). Communication with the host was fine, although hampered by not having internet.OliverFrance

The water pool and jacuzzi are clean and the area around the pool is a very pleasant place to relax. The staff is very welcoming, responsive and friendly. Great value for money. Highly recommend this place!

Just 1,5 hour drive and you are in paradise. Thank god they kept the hotel in it's old glory. So many beautiful nice touches and details like props from the movie industry, a collection of old camera's or sewing machines or the wall of Fame of famous actors of Colombia. Really fantastic. Great service, great bedrooms, great pool.

Truly outstanding. Beyond that the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was necessary given how hot Santa Fe gets, the location was good in the historic centre and close to Parque La Chinca where the food stalls set up at night, and the pool was nice to chill out in.
