Both transfers the hotel has organised for me and my wife (from the airport to the hotel as well as from the hotel to Guatape) have been excellent.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is included and a ride back to the airport also. We had a very confortable king bed. The bathroom is very small and basic. And the walls between rooms are thin so it can get a bit noisy. It is located very close to the airport and we would go back there. A good deal for the money!

Situated conveniently in the El Poblado district of Medellín, 574 Hotel is set 700 metres from El Poblado Park, 1.3 km from Lleras Park and 6.6 km from Laureles Park. Spacious room, comfortable bed. We also used their laundry service, good and fast. They serve amazing breakfast with several options, staff always smiling when bringing your coffee (honestly, those were best hotel breakfast out of our whole stay in Colombia). Location was close to Parque Poblado, supermarket close by, lots of restaurants etc. Staff at reception can help you arrange airport transfer (reasonably priced- comparable with Uber).

Good location in Poblado, near a 24/7 grocery store and a couple of malls (with ATMs, monex exchange, etc). The room and facilities were impeccable and clean. WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was excellent.

The Four Points Sheraton Medellin is located in the heart of the Poblado commercial and financial district, downtown Medellin. Fabulous area, very clean room and helpful staff. And a couple of wee chocolates popped onto our beds every evening. Lovely clean swimming pool and access to shopping centre through back gate made for a very convenient and save stay.

The Real City walking tour is a must!
The Real City walking tour is a must! The metro is very efficient (avoid rush hour) with easy access to most must-see sights. The museum at the Universidad de Antioquia is fabulous. And take a day trip to Guatape and the Piedra de Penol -awesome! Tip: be sure to carry with you some sort of ID (copy of your passport, etc.) as you will be asked for it in some of the most unlikely places.

Medellín is a beautiful city full of wonderful attractions and the friendliest people! I was only there for two and a half days, but I enjoyed every minute. I spent one day in Parque Arvi and hiked in the cooler weather above the city. Museo Antioquia had great exhibits and collections well worth the price. The food was great and staying in El Poblado, I had all the food varieties very close to my hostel.

Downtown is a bit seedy but with some good things to see eg plaza Botero and Museo di Antioquia. WEdid it with Real City Tours (highly recommend). Trip on cable car to suburbs and a visit to Communa 13 were fantastic and a must do. Suggest taking a tour of Communa 13 so some one can explain history and meaning behind of the graffiti.

Everyone I know falls in love with Medellin and Antioquia (The State). There are so many things to do and see. The food is so inexpensive and wonderful. You just have to be aware of not carrying a lot of money, jewelry, or using or flashing your phone around in public. Taxis are everywhere and they're very cheap, especially for groups. The metro makes it easy to get around the city quickly and inexpensively. Bars and restaurants are everywhere and the malls are huge and gorgeous. There are museums and plenty of beautiful towns to visit nearby. Other than that, I love this place!

Medellin is a really interesting city. Festival of Flowers was on, we loved seeing the amazing floral creations. Museo de Antioquia is a must visit, Bolero's art is incredible. The people are wonderful, and public transport as good as anywhere on planet earth.

Al Alma is a stunning hotel. The rooms, common areas, and pool are so tastefully designed and decorated. It is a truly beautiful place to stay. The staff are wonderful, helpful, friendly, everything you could hope for. The food at the restaurant is also the best food we had in Santa Fe de antioquia. We spent an exceptionally beautiful time at Levit Glamping and recommend staying here 100%! From the very first second we were just amazed by the beauty of this place. The location is spectacular: Directly by the lake and super calm and private with no other buildings around - only stunning nature. Because of the silence you’re able to hear (and watch) all the birds and completely relax. The place itself is super cute and you can feel the love they put into it. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - the whole time we felt welcomed and well cared for in a very genuine way. During movie night they even surprised us with popcorn which was adorable. The bathroom was clean and modern plus the shower had a very good water pressure. Another big plus were the three adorable dogs which made us feel super safe at night. :) The place also offers activities like educational walks through the forest and you can use their kayaks anytime during the day, which we sadly didn’t have any time for since we only stayed one night. Next time we’re gonna try and come back for longer. Definitely stay here if you want to be able to enjoy a beautiful, relaxing time away from everything!
