The rooms, bathrooms, public areas - everything - was clean and well maintained. All of the staff and managers were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great ! Plenty of parking. Foody pub right next door. Local taxis were efficient and easy to book from reception.
One of the most unique hotels in Perth, set in a 15th century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, reception area and Lounge Bar.

Perth used to be the capital of Scotland and has obviously been a very wealthy city. I would have loved to have seen it then.
Unfortunately it is now much like many cities and very run down.
Most things in Scotland are beautiful and I was really looking forward to Perth but found that the surrounding areas were much better than the City centre. So sorry as I would have loved to have said it was great.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are obviously big vibrant cities and I expected Perth to just have a little of this.

We were too early in the year for a number of attractions unfortunately. Come after the end of March. However, the Black Watch Museum was excellent especially if in to military history. You can have a guided tour which is very very informative, excellent in fact.
The restaurant, Kisas, was very good.

A small/compact City.
A small/compact City. Historic and the New Museum is fantastic. There are many independent shops as well as the shopping centre. Plenty of good eateries and coffee shops.
well placed for walking or cycling the river has footpaths along it and is well maintained. A lively theatre/live event scene too.
We received a warm and friendly welcome from Anne and David. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated and fitted out. Loved having a fridge in the room with fresh milk offered, armchairs to relax in, and the comfiest bed of our tour of Scotland. Breakfast was also the best of the trip, especially loved the fresh fruit. Very much appreciated the advance restaurant recommendation, everything worked out perfectly. Hope we have a chance to stay again.
The oldest established hotel in Scotland which has hosted everyone from Bonnie Prince Charlie to David Bowie.
The service was great and staff very friendly and helpful after re-booking after a personnel issue (Becky) was fantastic in arranging this for us public parking next to the hotel and the town and shops to explore ,Free from 6pm to 8am parking meter thought the day .
Nice cooked or continental or both😁 breakfast
I was attending an event at the Perth Concert Hall, which is literally just across the road from the hotel.
The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant had a lovely view across the river. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Parking at the hotel was very limited but there were several car parks nearby.
The room was amazing-the most spacious and well-appointed during our stay in Scotland. Would definitely stay there again. Lots of space, beautiful period decor and furniture, lovel sitting area overlooking the garden. Also breakfast was delicious and prepared fresh to order.
The hotel is lovely and clean and located close to all of the local amenities.
The staff are very polite and welcoming.
Beds are comfortable
Great breakfast with a wide variety of choices to cater for everyone's tastes.
I would definitely stay at the hotel in the future.
Very modern shower room ensuite. Breakfast was good. Staff attentive. My wife left her coat behind and the hotel let us know before we had driven too far away, so we were able to turn around and retrieve it. Thank you.
Easy walk into Perth City Centre.
It is a lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable the host was very kind I left something behind and he is posting it back to us which is not something I expected. It was perfect and a great location for the shops and other attractions of Scotland.
Free parking space, 3 bedrooms and a closed living room were perfect for our 5 person family.
The washer/dryer worked well. And walking distance to ALL of Perth. Plus a grocery store right out the door.
Owners were super nice and long time locals.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in the UK. The food and drinks are exceptionally good. The grounds and location are beautiful. I will definitely be staying again. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks.
Position excellent but corridors have unpleasant smell, beds need upgrading and an indication that hotel caters for large bus groups noted. That does not improve the experience of other patrons.
The breakfast was so good we had to stop by here again for another nights stay before ending our Scotland road trip! Lovely family running this guesthouse. Comfortable and clean rooms.
