Salutation Hotel, hotel in Perth

Situated in Perth centre, the award-winning Salutation Hotel is just a few minutes from Perth Concert Hall and the scenic walks around the River Tay.

A very clean and comfortable room. I had a great sleep and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathroom was a good size with a bath and a phone! I loved the old artefacts in the hotel from 1840.

Sunbank House Metro Hotel, hotel in Perth

In private gardens overlooking Perth, this Victorian family-run hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre and has a free private car park and free Wi-Fi.

Excellent location and staff very good, happy to spend time chatting and providing information. Breakfast was pre ordered the evening before and you selected your time for breakfast. This was done to a) reduce waste by cooking food that was not required b) to freshly cook your breakfast and provide a great start to the day.

The Parklands Hotel, hotel in Perth

Located 3 minutes’ walk to Perth Rail and Bus Stations, Parklands Hotel offers modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, 2 restaurants, and a garden with an outdoor seating area.

The location is perfect - right next to the park. The beer garden is beautiful and you can sit and look out over the park. You wouldn't think you were in the centre of Perth. The staff are friendly, approachable and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Staying here is so much better than a modern chain hotel. It is full of character and the people really care if you have a good visit.

River walk was lovely, but local city centre was just like any other town with loads of charity shops, and not mu h else to look at. Scone palace gardens were lovely, but could only go in the grounds due to having a dog, so wasn't allowed in the Palace

The multistorey car park at Kinnoull Street is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. The city itself is compact and pleasant enough. No hills in the city so easy to get about. Plenty of cafes by the new museum.

Perth used to be the capital of Scotland and has obviously been a very wealthy city. I would have loved to have seen it then. Unfortunately it is now much like many cities and very run down. Most things in Scotland are beautiful and I was really looking forward to Perth but found that the surrounding areas were much better than the City centre. So sorry as I would have loved to have said it was great. Glasgow and Edinburgh are obviously big vibrant cities and I expected Perth to just have a little of this.

Sam is a fantastic host who went the extra mile to make sure we got the most out of our overnight stay in Perth. Sam recommended some places to eat in the city and places to go if we wanted to have a little walk around. The breakfast we had was one of the best myself and partner have had during our road trip around Scotland with the personal touch of a fruit salad starter and fresh baked bread. If we ever stay in Perth again we will be looking to stay here again.

It was very quiet, very clean room and not too small. The shower was amazing, and the bed was officially the best stay mattress stayed in Scotland! Will definitely stay again!

Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was perfectly prepared and tailored to our dietary requirements. The location was a very short walk from the town centre and we were provided a map with recommended restaurants on it which was very helpful. If we go back to Perth we would happily stay there again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent for walking around. It's close to everything. I appreciate that it is a pet-friendly hotel and pretty quiet. Also, the darkening window shades were great. There was a breakfast offered, but I opted to go out so can't speak to its quality.

Very tasteful decor and the situation was so handy for heading south in the morning, what a great find at such a reasonable price, will definitely be back. Thank you.
