This hotel opposite Cologne's Lanxess Arena offers a unique mix of historic and modern architecture and good transport links. The Hotel Stadtpalais is set in a protected historic building. The room was quite bigger than expected, pretty well cleaned. Large enough for my family included 2kids. Also the staff were very friendly and nice, I left my jacket there but they found it and helped sending it to me.

Breakfast was amazing, the hotel is great. They had free apples, cookies, sweets and drinks at the entrance for the guests. There is a public transport 2 or 3 minutes away. Bathroom had everything necessary... shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, body lotion, etc. The bed is good, air conditioning ir effective. TV also had a considerable amount of channels, including some from my country.

Great location and amazing breakfast with great view of Dom Cathedral. Stayed for wedding anniversary and we received a bottle of champagne as compliment, it was not only that, we got also the room in special floor for member club and private breakfast with the great view even more close! And last we got special free welcoming drinks. It was sooo amazing experience.
