Set in the popular 101 harbour district of Berjaya Reykjavik Marina Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and either city or harbor views. We stayed here for 2 nights on arrival to Iceland and then a night at the end of our trip after driving the ring road. The room was great, with giant bunk beds plus a pull out couch and plenty of room for our family of four. Loved the buffet breakfast and the bar. The location was great as well, easy to walk around Reykjavik from there and very close to Saga Viking museum. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. Great location. Comfortable and good breakfast. The staff were exceptionally helpful

Boasting mountain views, Blue Viking Apartments Reykjavik offers accommodation with a balcony, around 1.5 km from Solfar Sun Voyager. I love everything about the apartment, it is a good size for 5 adult travellers, with 2 in each room and 1 person in the living room. The room was nice and cozy. I love the kitchen, it is well equipped. Toilet shower is the best, good size, includes a washer and dryer. Nice balcony. Unfortunately, it has only one toilet. Otherwise, this is a great place that I would strongly recommend. It is close to the whale watching retail shops, a famous burger joint just 2min down. 5min to supermarketsss. It is also walking distance to pick up points for tours to catch the Northern Lights. Over see the harbour. Best location for us since we did not drive in winter. Property is probably sound-proof? Did not hear noise from neighbours. Best stay than in hotels.

Grandinn Luxury apartment in Downtown Reykjavík features a patio and is located in Reykjavík, within just 2 km of Hallgrímskirkja Church and 500 metres of Reykjavik Old Harbour. Location was perfect, the host was lovely and very helpful, the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, it was clean and very well equipped. Check in and out was very easy. Shops and attractions like the Lava/ Aurora Show were literally on the doorstep. The apartment is a short walk to the centre but just enough out of the way to be peaceful. I would 100% recommend it.
